Super League 2012 Preview

Rugby League fans up and down the M62 corridor will be glad the long wait is finally over now that Super League is back for the 2012 season.

This weekend will see the start of an exciting 9-month long campaign, culminating once again with the Grand Final at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford in October.

The 2011 season domestic rugby league season ended with a Leeds side, having already dumped out Warrington, come from behind to beat St Helens in Manchester for the fourth time in just five years.

What’s even more impressive is that Brian McDermott’s side did it having finished outside the top four in the regular Super League season. Leeds Rhinos are 7/2 to repeat their Grand Final triumph again and are the same price to win the regular season.
