Back the Hammers to continue their unbeaten run

Stoke City travel to Upton Park tonight looking to rack up their 50th win in the Premier League, but won’t find it easy against an in-form West Ham side who could go 5th with a win.

The Hammers are unbeaten in their six home games so far this season, having won three and drawn the remainder. And at 21/20 (Victor Chandler) they have to be the value bet to make it five wins from their last six home games against the Potters.

Tony Pulis’ side have been struggling away from the Britannia, and are looking for their first away win in 16 Premier League games (W0 D6 L9), during which they have managed just eight goals. They are 3/1 (Victor Chandler) to pick up all 3 points tonight.

Kevin Nolan had been in great form so far this season, banging in 5 goals in his 11 appearances for West Ham, 4 of which have come at Upton Park. He looks decent value to score again tonight at around 21/10 (Paddy Power).

Michael Owen has a great record against West Ham, scoring 13 goals from his 17 league appearances against the Hammers. He is 11/1 to score first and as big as 4/1 to score anytime (both with Paddy Power), though he is probably likely to start from the bench.

Stoke have played out the most goalless draws in the Premier League this season (3), while West Ham are one of four sides to have played in two. Another 0-0 tonight can be backed at 8/1 with SkyBet, though we fancy West Ham to win 1-0 (6/1) or 2-0 (19/2).
