Bank on a goal-fest at Plainmoor

3rd placed Exeter City will be looking to keep their excellent form going when they travel to Plainmoor on Tuesday night to take on Torquay Utd in League 2.

Torquay themselves have been in decent form however, winning half of their home games this season, and will be no pushovers, hence why the bookmakers can hardly split them (Torquay 6/4, Exeter 7/4, Draw 23/10).

But whilst the result is tough to call, we expect a real goal-fest…

Whilst Torquay are good going forward they often leave themselves open at the back, keeping just 2 clean sheets all season.

66% of their home games have had more than 2.5 goals (3rd highest in the League 2), whilst 77% of Exeter away games have had a similar ratio (2nd highest in Division).

Exeter have failed to score in just 15% of their away games and are one of only 4 sides to score more than 22 goals on the road.

In summary, both these sides like to play open, attacking football so we could be in for goals, goals, goals and Bet365‘s 4/5 for Over 2.5 looks to be the value bet on a match which is tough to call the result in.

Got something to say?
