Blades must be backed at 4/5 to pile misery on Pompey

This evening’s live TV game sees Sheffield Utd host Portsmouth at Bramall Lane and bookmakers Coral are offering a very generous 4/5 about a home win.

And with value like that it would be plain rude not to take advantage.

Danny Wilson’s men are unbeaten so far this season, winning 7 and drawing the remainder, whilst Pompey languish 10 points behind their hosts coming into this game.

Portsmouth have failed to register a win at Bramall Lane in their 22 league meetings to date and they have kept just one clean sheet away from home this season.

By contrast Sheff Utd have the best defensive record in the division, conceding just 10 goals in their 13 games. With that the 21/10 with Skybet for the home side to win to nil looks like decent value too.

Dave Kitson is expected to make a return to the side and is 5/1 (bet365) to net first against his former employers, whilst Pompey’s top scorer, Izale McLeod, is 7/1 (bet365) to open the scoring; a price which might represent some value given he has bagged 6 goals in as many starts.

Got something to say?
