Beckham 9/1 to stay in US with NY Red Bulls

David Beckham has confirmed he is looking to end his six-year spell with LA Galaxy once the MLS Cup draws to an end next month and the rumours have already started to spread as to where he will be plying his trade next.

The Australian Football Federation last week claimed that they had been approached by the former England captain’s ‘camp’ with a view to him doing a stint in Oz, but Beckham and his spokesmen were quick to dismiss the rumours.

That said, SkyBet still make Melbourne Heart the 4/1 favourites in the “Beckham’s Next Club” betting and 5/1 that he ends up at Perth Glory.

Paris Saint-Germain are 9/2 to bag his signature, though that looks an incredibly short price given the midfield talent they have at their disposal.

If the 37-year-old was to stay in the MLS for family reasons, the New York Red Bulls look to represent some value at 9/1.

Elsewhere, SkyBet are offering 25/1 for Beckham to return to AC Milan and 20/1 to head back to Old Trafford.
