Dutch bigger price than England after losing opener

Bookmakers Bet365 have pushed Holland out to 14/1 in the betting to win Euro 2012 after they lost their opening fixture against Denmark last night.

Having started the tournament as 13/2 3rd favourites (behind Germany and Spain), they are now bigger odds than Roy Hodgson‘s men (12/1), who start their campaign against France tomorrow evening.

The Dutch dominated possession throughout and had over 20 attempts at goal. But poor finishing from Robin Van Persie, Ibrahim Affelay and Arjen Robben cost them dearly as they failed to find the back of the net.

They must now play Germany and Portugal in their remaining group games, meaning that they face an uphil task to qualify from Group B. They are now as big as 5/2 (Paddy Power) to qualify for the Quarter Finals.
