England 17/2 to be knocked out by Germany at Euro 2012

With just 10 days to go until the start of Euro 2012, Roy Hodgson has named his 23-man squad and Irish bookmaker Paddy Power are less than impressed – so much so they offering just 6/4 for England to fall at the first hurdle and return home immediately after the group stages.

Not only that but they are also going 12/1 for the Three Lions to actually go on and win the tournament, whilst a more realistic Quarter Final exit is a 7/4 chance.

Should England make it through their group, there is a decent chance of them meeting their old rivals Germany at some stage in the tournament and Paddy Power are offering 17/2 for England to be knocked out by them at any stage.
