Expect plenty goals at the King Power Stadium on Friday

Leicester City host Middlesbrough on Friday evening in the Npower Championship and the Foxes will be looking to make it five wins on the bounce in all competitions.

They have been scoring goals for fun; in fact only Crystal Palace have scored more goals at home (33) than Leicester (32) this season.

It is no secret that the Championship is a high scoring League averaging 2.9 goals per game, and these two sides are the 3rd and 5th top scorers respectively.

So one thing we can expect is plenty goals!

Leicester’s home games have averaged 3.3 goals/game whilst ‘Boro’s away games have averaged 3.1 goals/game.

Not only that but Middlesbrough have failed to score in just 3 of their 27 games (11%) whilst the Foxes have failed to score in 5 of theirs (18%).

The home side do have a good defensive record (11 clean sheets so far this term), but this should be an open game Tony Mowbray will send his side out looking to attack.

Both the BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals bets look good here, but we are going for the latter at 8/11 (Stan James).

Got something to say?
