Harry ‘Houdini’ to work his magic at first attempt?

Harry Redknapp begins what he has described as his ‘toughest job yet’ as he takes charge of his first game as QPR boss when they face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this evening.

He inherits a side that has made the worst ever start to a Premier League campaign, with just 4 points on the board from a possible 36.

Furthermore, QPR have failed to win a single game against Sunderland in their last 10 attempts (L7, D3 in all competitions).

Whilst Rangers have struggled (both home and away!) so far this season, whatever team Redknapp puts out will be looking to impress and capitalise on Sunderland’s poor run of form.

The Black Cats have their own problems, managing just 12 goals so far and O’Neill’s men are looking to register what would be only their 3rd win in 21 Premier League games.

That said, whilst they have generally struggled in front of goal, they have failed to score in just one of their home games this season.

Stephane Sessegnon netted in both games against QPR last season and the Benin international is 9/4 to score tonight and is as big as 7/1 to open the scoring (both with Boylesports).

The result of this game will be tough to call as its difficult to gauge what impact Redknapp will have had at this early stage. We do however like the look of Both Teams to Score (5/6 with Bet365) and might have a small wager on QPR nicking it 2-1.
