Harry Redknapp now odds on to be next England manager

Following news that Harry Redknapp has been found not guilty in his tax evasion trial, bookmaker Paddy Power have been forced to slash the odds of the Spurs gaffer now becoming the next England manager from 15/8 to just 8/13.

Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: “This case was seemingly the only thing that might prevent Harry taking over from Fabio as England manager. Now he is not guilty the clamour for Harry to be given ‘the second most important job in England’ will be enormous.”

The hopes of others in the market have suffered on the back of Harry’s good news with Roy Hodgson out to 10/1 (from 8/1) and Martin O’Neill out to 12/1.
