Lewandowski 5/1 to Net First Euro 2012 Goal | Poland v Greece Preview

Euro 2012 gets underway later today when co-hosts Poland host Group A opponents Greece at the National Stadium in Warsaw and the Poles’ are Evs (Bet365) to get off to a winning start.

This is undoubtadly the weakest group of the Championships, yet Poland will be keen to take all three points in front of their home fans, who will be hopeful of their side getting through to the knockout stages of the competition.

2004 winners Greece are 7/2 to cause an upset with Stan James.

Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Poles, and he is 5/1 to net the first goal and just 7/4 to score anytime according to Victor Chandler.

Lukasz Piszczek has been in great form in Bundesliga this term and will be keen to get forward from right-back whenever possible. We rate him very highly and he is 20/1 (Bet365) to be the Man of the Match tonight; odds worth a second look.

We fancy this to be a tight game with Poland to nick it by just a single goal or two. Unfortunately so do the bookies, hence why the Under 2.5 goals is priced at just 2/5 – one to leave alone!

Poland v Greece Tips

Poland 1-0 – 5/1 (Ladbrokes)
Robert Lewandowski 1st goal – 5/1 (Victor Chandler)
Lukasz Piszczek Man of the match – 20/1 (Bet365)
