Soldado 9/5 to make it 15 from 15 against PSG

Roberto Soldado was the source of much speculation in the January transfer window with a host of clubs, including Liverpool, reportedly after his signature.

The Spaniard has been in fine form again this season notching 11 from his 21 La Liga appearances this term (10 of which have come in home games at the Mestalla).

Not only that but he has scored 14 in his last 14 Champions League games and he looks a huge price to add another to that total against PSG (9/5 with Paddy Power).

If you fancy him to score first he can be backed at 11/2, whilst they are offering 7/2 for him to score in a Valencia win.

It is fair to say that Paris Saint-Germain have been very solid at the back this season under Ancelotti, conceding just 3 goals in their 6 CL group games.

That said, they had a relatively easy group (Porto, D.Zagreb, D.Kiev) compared to Valencia’s, which included Bayern Munich (against who they drew 1-1 with at home).

Confidence is high at Valencia and they have lost just 1 of their last 7 (v Real Madrid) in a run which included a draw against Barcelona in their most recent home game in La Liga.

Soldado to score anytime looks overpriced and represents a bit of value against a PSG defence which is missing Thiago Silva (injured).

Got something to say?
