Zaha 4/1 to make switch to The Emirates

Wilfried Zaha is one of the hottest prospects around and his recent England call up has only raised his profile even further.

It was somewhat of a surprise that he didn’t make the move  to the Premier League in the Summer transfer window, with West Brom, Aston Villa and Wigan all linked with player.

But after turning in another series of sterling performances and helping Crystal Place to the Championship top spot, his name is once being banded about with a whole host of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Tottenham both 4/1 favourites to bag his signature according to William Hill.

Zaha is 5/6 to still be a Palace player come the end of the January transfer window, but if he keeps playing the way he is one of the Premier League’s big boys are sure to take a gamble on the young winger.

Ian Holloway and the Eagles’ board have claimed their star man he is not for sale, but we know that even the very best players have a price.

Zaha’s style has been likened to that of a Theo Walcott or an Aaron Lennon, looking to commit defenders with his pace.

Yet with both clubs already having a number of established wide men on their books it may be worth looking further down the betting.

Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle are all priced at 25/1 with William Hill and whilst he may well be priced out of the Toffees’ range, surely Brendan Rodgers and Alan Pardew would be interested in bagging his signature if the price was right.
