New (Shit) Football Kits

It’s that time of the year when the Premier League clubs release yet another football kit. And this year is no different… except the fact that the kits appear to be getting worse!

Cheslea, Tottenham, Liverpool have all released new away kits in very strange colours (Glaucoma sufferers look away now).

Many clubs have chosen to go down the ‘Retro’ route over recent years, but with sponsorship becoming more important all the time, some kits have been almost taken over by the sponsors’ logos and colours.

Here we take a look at some of the new kits which will be hitting a pitch/park near you and let you be the judge of how good (or bad!) they are!

Chelsea Away kit

Chelsea's new away kit - fitted with fully functional solar panels for extra energy

Man City Away kit

Man City have opted to go for red and black this season, probably in the hope that it brings the same success as their neighbours up the road in Salford

Spurs' new kit. It's purple... apparently.

Sunderland Away kit

Sunderland's new away kit looks like it is built for the man huge man boobs and a 28 waist.

Aston Villa kit can only be described as 'ugly', highlighted beautifully by the horrid Chinese logo!

Barcelona Away kit

Barcelona have opted for this all-black number, a colour more fitting for an Everton kit maybe?

Bolton's new 'puzzle' inspired kit looks like it may we be see through. Do we really need to be subjected to Kevin Davies' belly button on MOTD?

Liverpool Third Kit

Liverpool's new third kit - white and BLUE!!

Newcastle Goalkeeper shirt

Newcastle - Goalkeeper shirt. Maybe Mike Ashley is hoping to bring Liberace back from the dead and stick him in goal at St James'

Everton goalkeeper shirt

And last, but certainly not least, how could we ever leave out the new Everton goalkeeper jersey. Now you see it, now you don't...

Why not let us know your best and worst football kits of all time below and we’ll do our best to feature some of them in a ‘Shit Kit Countdown’ soon.

Got something to say?
