Snedeker looks big at 20/1 for the Farmers’

Tiger Woods will be looking to claim his eighth win in the Farmers’ Insurance Open when play gets underway later this week, but at 5/2 in the betting is well worth taking on in our opinion.

Phil Mickelson looks to be in good nick, having come close to winning the Abu Dhabi Championship last week. He has form in this tournament too but we will be looking for something a little bigger than odds of 12/1.

That brings us to Brandt Snedeker (20/1), who has a great recent record here and looks about the best value in the field.

He has finished in the top two in three of his last four Farmers Insurance Opens and with Paddy Power paying 6 places on each way bets, he has to be worthy of a pound or two of anybody’s money to be in the frame.
