Rocket 8/1 to win 5th Crucible title

‘The Rocket’ Ronnie O’Sullivan has today announced an end to his snooker sabbatical and will take return to the sport to defend his World Championship title at the Crucible in April.

The 37-year-old withdrew from the snooker circuit in November due to “personal issues”, but has been priced up at 8/1 (Paddy Power) to win another World title after confirming his plans to return.

The four-time champion, who has battled depression in recent years, has provisionally dropped to 20th in the rankings and is 4th favourite in the World Championship Snooker Betting.

However as reigning champion, he has automatically qualified for the World Championship and will be top seed.
