The 2014 PDC World Championship got off to a flyer over the weekend as we saw two 9-dart finishes in the first couple of days!

We landed 3 of the 4 selections last night, with just Chisnall letting us down for a clean sweep.

Tonight’s action is a bit more low-key with none of the top 10 players on show. That said there are some potentially close 1st Round matches to get stuck into for tonight’s darts tips…

Bank on Waites to progress | Grand Slam of Darts Betting

After a couple of excellent betting days on the Grand Slam of Darts, last night was somewhat of a frustrating one with Anderson, O’Shea and Kist all finding themselves in strong positions but missing doubles to win when it mattered.

Hopefully we’ll have a little more luck tonight as the knockout stages get underway over the longer format (best of 19 legs) and we’ve previewed each match in turn…

Trust King to get the better of The Machine

We had 6 winning bets from 8 in last night’s William Hill Grand Slam of Darts tips and we’ve got another 8 matches to get stuck into as the round robin stage draws to a close.

Whilst a race to 5 legs (best of 9) often throws up the occasional shock if a player starts slowly, we think the following bets represent some good value on day 4 of the Grand Slam of Darts…

In the opener Arron Monk should have no problems against the Dutch Jan Dekker, a player who has been terribly disappointing losing both his games so far by a 5-1 margin. Monk beat James Wade by the same scoreline earlier in the group and 4/7 (Ladbrokes) looks good value here, as does the -1.5 leg handicap (Evs, Boylesports).
